This policy explains how the Fraction Calculator app for Android handles your information. It applies to the app published on Google Play under the package name com.calculatefractions.app, developed by Tomasz Warezak, the author of CalculateFractions.com. The short version: the app does not collect, store or send any personal data at all.
The app gathers none of the following. There is no hidden logging and no background reporting.
No name, email address, phone number or any other contact details.
No account, sign-up or login of any kind.
No location data, neither precise nor approximate.
No contacts, calendar entries, photos, videos or files from your device.
No advertising identifier, device identifier or any other unique ID.
No usage analytics, event tracking or behavioural profiling.
No crash reports or diagnostic logs.
The app declares no Android permissions. It does not even request the internet permission, which means it is technically unable to open a network connection. The fractions you type cannot leave your device, because the app has no way of sending them anywhere.
The app uses no third-party services. There is no advertising network, no analytics platform, no crash reporting tool and no in-app purchase system built into it. Because nothing is collected, nothing is shared, sold or transferred to anyone.
The app keeps a single setting on your device, plus some temporary state that never leaves memory.
Uninstalling the app removes this local data from your device.
If you have Android backup turned on in your Google account, Android may include the welcome card setting in your device backup or in a device-to-device transfer. This is handled entirely by the Android system, not by the app, and the value contains no personal information. You can control it in your device backup settings.
Fraction Calculator is built as a learning tool and is suitable for children. Since the app collects no personal information from anyone, it collects no personal information from children either. There is nothing in the app that asks a child for details about themselves, and no content is served from outside the app.
Data protection laws such as the GDPR give you the right to access, correct, export or delete the personal data a company holds about you.
